Restricted Jurisdictions

Jurisdictions in which the Virgilnex platform or individual services are not available.

Not all services available through the Virgilnex platform are available to all clients. The availability of each service depends on your country of residence, nationality, place of incorporation, the location from which you access the platform, the requirements of the relevant service provider and applicable law.

Virgilnex publishes on this page, for the platform as a whole and for each service, the jurisdictions in which the platform or that service is not available (each a "Restricted Jurisdiction"). Virgilnex may amend this list at any time and without prior notice, and any jurisdiction may be treated as a Restricted Jurisdiction where required by applicable law, by any sanction or by any service provider, whether or not it is listed below.

You are responsible for checking this list before accessing the platform or activating any service, and from time to time thereafter. The services available to you are determined on the basis of the information provided by you during registration and verification; one or more services may not be available to you even where your account has been approved.

Platform (all services)

The platform is not available to residents, citizens or entities of the following jurisdictions:

  • •Iran (Islamic Republic of)
  • •Myanmar
  • •North Korea (Democratic People's Republic of Korea)
  • •Sudan
  • •China (People's Republic of China)
  • •United States of America
  • •Singapore

The platform is also not available to:

  • •persons or entities designated under sanctions administered or enforced by the United Nations, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, the European Union, the Republic of Costa Rica or any other applicable authority;
  • •jurisdictions identified by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) as high-risk or subject to increased monitoring;
  • •persons, entities or jurisdictions designated on sanctions lists administered by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
